Information we use

Parq uses information needed to provide parking and account services. This can include names, contact details, team and site information, vehicles, license plates, permits, parking sessions, invoices, payments, support messages, device information, IP addresses, and activity records.

Payment providers process card and bank details. Parq stores the identifiers and payment status needed to manage billing, but does not need to store a complete card number.

License plates and vehicle photos

We use license plate information for parking authorization, permits, sessions, payments, and enforcement. Authorized site managers can upload a vehicle photo for plate identification. The photo is sent to our plate-recognition provider, which can return the plate number, issuing region, confidence score, and vehicle type.

The recognition upload is not saved by Parq as part of that lookup. A photo separately attached to an enforcement case or other record may be retained with that record. In the future, a site may enable connected cameras to identify plates or start and end parking sessions automatically.

How information is shared

Information may be shared with the site operators and teams responsible for a parking location, and with service providers that help us process payments, send notifications, recognize plates, host the service, or provide support. We do not use parking information as an unrelated data product.

Mobile information and SMS consent

We will not sell mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, or SMS consent information. We will not share that information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We will not share your SMS campaign opt-in with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing the services of that campaign. We may share mobile information and SMS opt-in or consent status only with service providers that help deliver text messages, such as messaging platforms, phone companies, and other messaging vendors. Those providers may use the information only to provide the messaging service.

Retention and choices

We keep information while it is needed to operate the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Available account and notification choices appear in My Settings. Email [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.
